POST Administrative Manual
This manual contains information about the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Program. The POST Program exists under the authority of, and in compliance, with California Penal Code Sections 13503, 13506, and 13510. The POST Program is voluntary. A jurisdiction or department that desires to participate in the POST Program may apply, and if accepted, must adhere to the regulations stated in this manual.

NOTE: The POST Administrative Manual (PAM) is being revised. As they become final, POST will make the related chapters and new regulations available in the New PAM. (Title 11, Division 9).
