We Should All Pay Closer Attention!

An article in the Los Angeles Daily News details some tragic results of distracted law enforcement driving. The article also provides examples of a few agency policies recently enacted as a result of distracted driving. While this problem also impacts fire and medical agencies, statistics show that technological advances appear to be having an impact on the increase of distracted driving for all emergency workers. Distracted driving has been an area of discussion at recent SAFE Driving meetings and is anticipated to be a future area of focus.
