Below 100 is a grassroots effort; a nonprofit, volunteer coalition of dedicated trainers whose mission is to change the culture of law enforcement through innovative training that will increase awareness and reduce on-duty peace officer deaths to “below 100” nationally. By influencing peace officers to adopt the Below 100 five tenets, statistics show this may be possible.

The 5 tenets:

  1. Wear Your Belt
  2. Wear Your Vest
  3. Watch Your Speed
  4. WIN – What’s Important Now?
  5. Remember: Complacency Kills

Below 100 offers a 4-hour training session designed to motivate peace officers to engage in safe practices, and encourage their law enforcement brothers and sisters to do the same. Attendees wishing to carry the message forward and help get law enforcement deaths to “below 100” can take an additional 4-hour “train-the-trainer” session.

Visit to learn more about the mission, and to locate and register for upcoming courses offered across the country.

Wear your seatbelt, watch your speed, and practice SAFE driving!
