Course Description

This advanced-level workshop focuses on preemployment evaluations of public safety candidates and personnel. It is designed for individuals familiar with the MMPI-2-RF, for example, those who have completed the "Introduction to the MMPI-2-RF" workshop. Topics covered include legal considerations, best practices, and the use of the MMPI-2-RF Police Candidate Interpretive Report (PCIR) in conducting preemployment evaluations. Use of the PCIR in these assessments will be illustrated by a comprehensive case study in which the report’s findings are integrated with those from the background investigation, mental health records, clinical interview, and other psychological tests.
