Course Description

The MMPI-3 Public Safety Candidate Interpretive Reports (PS-CIRs) build on the infrastructure of the Police Candidate Interpretive Report to provide transparent, empirically-grounded interpretation of MMPI-3 test results for use in preemployment evaluations of candidates for police, correctional officer, dispatcher, and firefighter/medic positions. The presentation will describe the development of the reports, their structure and empirical foundations, documentation available to guide use of the reports, and offer recommended best practices for using the reports in preemployment evaluations. Use of the reports will be illustrated with case studies.
