Course Description
NOTE: This 3 CE home study course has been approved for 1.5 hours of POST CPE credit.
This course discusses the topic of ADHD and substance use disorder. In the course, the content will cover the DSM-5 definition for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in adults, the interaction between ADHD and substance use disorders. This course will also provide information on screening for ADHD in adults, treatment of co-occurring ADHD and substance use disorders, and prevention of stimulant abuse in clients with ADHD.

- Discuss medication treatment used for ADHD.
