Course Description

The IACP Police Psychological Services Section Executive Board reveals the practice domains of police psychologists, the integrated role of cultural competence throughout their work, the ongoing tangible officer safety and wellness work of all section committees, the critical challenges that the board faces this year in leading police psychologists around the world, and how you can consult to elevate individual and agency performance.

Course Objectives

Identify 3 practice domains of police psychologists
Articulate why cultural competence matters in law enforcement and therefore the work of police psychologists
Identify 1 current initiative of each of the PPSS committees
