Course Description

Introduction to the Psychological Screening Program, format, and report

Course Objectives

To have all contractors at the same training and for those with special knowledge or skills to lend expertise to the newest contractors and provide subject matter experts from a number of agencies i.e. Alcoholic Beverage Control, Department of Parks and Recreation, Department of State Hospitals, and California Highway Patrol to speak to their unique needs and the characteristics hoped for in the candidates. Dr. Shelley Spilberg spoke about the new POST Manual to be released in September. To ask questions that will build on knowledge and understanding of psychological screening for law enforcement candidates. Review the format for the structured interviews and the report.
