Course Description
NOTE: This 6 hour CME course is approved for 2 hours of POST CPE.
Educational conference on law and ethics.
Course Objectives
1) Describe three problems with and strategies to overcome cognitive/affective decision making errors; 2) Describe two elements of ethical approaches to challenging racism in clinical services; 3) Identify two main steps in structuring supervisory relationships to enhance clarity of expectations and reduce risks; 4) Summarize three developments in confidentiality in California; 5) Recognize two challenges in navigating evidence-based practices in highly diverse patient populations; 6) Define three aspects of managing risks associated with board complaints.
