Course Description

The MPQ Police Preemployment Interpretive Report (PPIR), scheduled for release in the summer of 2023, is a computer-generated report designed for use as a measure of normal personality traits in preemployment evaluations of law enforcement personnel. Separate versions are available for pre- and post-offer assessments. The presentation will introduce police psychologists to the MPQ PPIR, including a description of the MPQ, development of the interpretive report, review of the empirical literature on the use of the MPQ in police preemployment evaluations, and case illustrations.
