  • Compare state laws regulating the disclosure of preemployment psychological screening reports to public safety applicants.
  • Explain how the high-stakes nature of a police officer's job makes the "job-related" scope of a preemployment evaluation far broader and more intrusive than for almost any other civilian position.
Detecting Sexual Predators and Public Safety Preemployment Evaluations

  • Identify some of the generational shifts in attitudes around sex and sexuality given the average age of our typical LE applicant.
  • Identify that non-normative sex practices are part of a continuum in human sexuality that may not constitute deviant behavior.
