Course Description

This course outlines the special features of the CPI Selection Report (JR&A) used to help formulate suitability determinations when conducting police screening

Course Objectives

Participants will be able to:• Conduct evidence-based assessments with the CPI SELECTION REPORT• Rely on empirical findings in CPI SELECTION REPORT Validity Scales interpretation• Consider internal and external sources of error in CPI SELECTION REPORT interpretation• Use custom features of CPI SELECTION REPORT reports• Use the CPI SELECTION REPORT to assist in formulating preemployment screening recommendations• Interpret scores on the CPI Selection Report in context of pre-employment screening• Identify and consider impact of under-reporting on the CPI scales. As a result of attending this presentation, the participant will be able to:- Identify, classify, and cite CPI SELECTION REPORT research.- Utilize peer reviewed data to guide CPI SELECTION REPORT interpretation.- Critically analyze the special CPI SELECTION REPORT scores when using the instrument.
