Course Description

A board certified police and pubic safety psychologist who has worked with the largest and most diverse and sophisticated public safety agencies conducting employment screening for over a decade and also leading the training arm of the specialty and presenting nationally yearly across the relevant associations on such topics reviews the known predictors and their relative weights, outlines models for combining data, articulates procedural accountability processes, discusses special topics/challenges and appropriate modifications/adaptations, and demonstrates how it is all done in practice, from intake and preparation to reporting and tracking results. The presentation will address social justice topics such as avoiding adverse impact in the pre- and post-offer phases of screening.
