POST will only reimburse attendance for one representative per presenter. Any request for reimbursement for additional representatives will require prior approval from the Basic Training Bureau Chief, Carrie Hollar at Carrie.Hollar@post.ca.gov. Consideration will be given to presenters running multiple academy sites. A new request for reimbursement by LOA is required for each Consortium.   

POST will only reimburse travel and per diem expenses via an electronic Training Reimbursement Request (eTRR). Attendees participating in training who are not eligible for eTRR (i.e., attending on behalf of a college presenter) may be reimbursed by Letter of Agreement (LOA) if requested in advance and pre-approved. However, due to state policy, state agency employees will have to arrange travel accommodations and reimbursements through their own agency.   

A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved at the state rate of $125 per night for the night of March 15, 2023.  The group rate is available until February 15, 2023 or until the block is full, whichever comes first. With prior approval from the Basic Training Bureau Chief, presenters located in remote sections of the state may arrive on March 14, 2023, due to their extended travel times.
