Supervisory Course
The 80-hour mandated Supervisory Course (Commission Regulation 1005) must be completed within 12 months of promotion or appointment to a first-level supervisory position (equivalent rank of Sergeant).  Exception: Quasi-supervisory position i.e. Corporals may attend a Supervisory Course, if authorized by the department head. The Supervisory Course is organized under the following topics:
