ICI Specialty Foundations & Investigative Electives List
The investigative electives on this list are not all inclusive; however, any additional course that may be
considered for this purpose must be POST-certified, instructor led, investigative in nature, and relate
directly to an ICI Foundation Specialty Course or universally to all of them. Reach out to
ICI@post.ca.gov with the course control number (CCN) for confirmation or any other questions.

Please note, because elective courses may be applied toward an application for up to 10 years, some
of the courses listed may no longer be available.
