POST Learning Portal Status

June 13, 2024: This is an update to the POST Learning Portal status:

POST Learning Portal Upgrades in Progress

The Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) is in the process of upgrading all Learning Portal courses to a new media service by June 30, 2024. We anticipate a smooth transition, but users may experience some technical trouble with video or audio streaming after June 26, 2024.

Here is what to expect during the upgrade process:

1. If you are enrolled in or want to register for courses, make time to complete them before Wednesday, June 26, 2024 , to avoid disruption.

2. If you do not complete a course, you will be moved to a new section and you will have to start again.

3. For First Aid/CPR/AED retraining, complete the online modules AND the skills demonstration by 6/26/2024. If you don't complete the course, you will be transferred automatically to a new section of the course. You will have to retake modules you have already completed.

Regular updates throughout this process will be sent via PASS and Learning Portal interest emails. For more information, please contact Learning Portal Support at, or visit the Learning Portal Status Update web page to check the ongoing upgrade status.

Learning Portal Courses to be Decertified Effective June 30, 2024

See POST Bulletin 2024-20 for a list of courses. These courses will not be available after June 30, 2024.

Vehicle Pursuit Policy Update Course

We appreciate your patience while POST staff work to get the Vehicle Pursuit Policy Update course back online as soon as possible. We will send an announcement as soon as the course is live.

In the meantime, agencies may conduct their own Vehicle Pursuit Policy Update training on site, distribute their policy internally, and collect the attestation forms. Please note: You are not required to use the Learning Portal for this training.
If you want to offer your own Vehicle Pursuit Policy Update course for CPT credit, refer to Commission Regulation 1052 or contact your Regional Consultant. Additional information may be found on the POST Website Course Certification FAQs page.
