Prior to joining POST in 2021, Darin retired as a Captain from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. During his 30-year career, he held various assignments including Corrections, Patrol, SWAT, Professional Standards, Investigations and Courts. Throughout his career he has been involved in course development and instruction within the Sheriff’s Office and with CPOA. Darin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Management.
